Trained in Fashion, Interior, and Jewelry design, Romina works interdisciplinary on various design projects. With her collections of fabric remnants from large companies, she sets an example against waste in the fashion industry and proves that new valuable products can be created from discarded materials.
Her work is inspired by the transience of nature and the possibility to create new designs from the symbiosis of current technologies and existing craftsmanship toward a more sustainable future. Currently, she teaches fashion design and leads the sewing courses at BERNINA Zurich.
