Trained in fashion and interior design, Romina works interdisciplinary on various art, theater, and fashion projects. With her collections of fabric remnants from large companies, she sets an example against waste in the fashion industry and proves that new valuable products can be created from discarded materials that are aesthetically appealing and of high quality. She has worked for numerous well-known companies such as Hugo Boss, Odeeh, and Schauspielhaus Zurich, as well as implemented projects with smaller local studios. Her work is inspired by the transience of nature and the possibility to create new designs from the symbiosis of current technologies and existing craftsmanship toward a more sustainable future. Currently, she teaches fashion design and leads the sewing courses at BERNINA Zurich.
